Every decision we make aims to create a greener production model, reduce carbon footprints, protect natural resources, and preserve the Earth's ecosystems, all of which lay a solid foundation for sustainable development. At SUN POLAR, we integrate sustainability into every environmental action we take. Our commitment to green manufacturing goes beyond a promise; it is a concrete contribution to the environment and future generations. Below are our specific actions in the field of green manufacturing:

1. Recycled Yarn Usage

With our Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification, SUN POLAR actively supports customers in incorporating recycled yarn into their product designs. In 2022, the adoption of recycled yarn is projected to surge by 64% in 2022, showcasing our collective commitment to sustainable practices.

2. Air-Suction-System

The SUN POLAR new factory, inaugurated in 2023, is equipped with an advanced central air-suction system, which reduces electricity consumption by up to 40% compared to previous equipment, significantly enhancing energy efficiency.

3. Harnessing Solar Power

SUN POLAR has installed a 316 kW solar system on the roof of our new factory, expected to generate 365,000 kWh of clean, green energy annually, which is equivalent to powering approximately 104 small households for a year. This further underscores our strong commitment to reducing carbon emissions, advancing sustainable development, and leveraging renewable energy.

4. Rainwater Harvesting System

The SUN POLAR new factory is equipped with a dedicated rainwater harvesting system that collects and stores rainwater for irrigation and toilet use within the facility. This system achieves up to 20% water savings, effectively reducing water consumption, and supports our long-term goals of energy conservation and carbon reduction.

5. Waste Repurposing into SRF

SUN POLAR transforms waste yarn into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF), a sustainable fuel that serves as a green alternative to coal or petroleum coke, effectively reducing carbon emissions. Annually, the conversion of a portion of waste yarn into SRF is expected to reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 59.85 tons, decrease dependence on natural resources, and help protect the planet's precious natural resources.
